Two weeks already!

Time is flying by to fast!! But we are having a busy time. Mom has been helping me so much-getting the garage and shed organized, Dada has been catching up on some reading and supplying us with daily Indian Chai, and they have been enjoying the coastal weather with some daily morning and afternoon walks.  The girls are having fun with them too-Tamra has finally warmed up to them more and isn't as shy. Isa has been quite the helped since they have arrived.

Fourth of July with the whole family was a nice weekend get together.

 

 

It's nice to be among family!

Soon we head up north to Tahoe. Won't be posting for about a week; going to be hiking, swimming and taking lots of pictures!!!! This time is moving by very fast, must cherish it all!

Recently took some headshot of a Teen Idol competition for San Luis Obispo, will post on charming birdie blog when I get back. Slowly but steadily, building my portfolio; and trying to not become obessessed with the computer and simply spending more time with the girls, with Trevis, with my family, and myself!!!

I heart hard labor

...no really I do. So what do I do on my flex day off? Out of a thousand things I could do, including cleaning out my shed, I decided to opt for something that would give me satisfaction in actually finishing it; something where I could say, job well done! or now would ya look at that!

So instead of the shed, or lounging around on a gorgeous day, I put on some hard leather work gloves, wore my trusted ball cap that kept my hair out of my face, grabbed the wheelbarrow, and proceeded to move the 1/2 cord of wood from the front driveway, to the way back of the backyard where we store all our firewood.

Every time I bent down to pick up some wood and toss it into the barrel, I felt accomplished. I love that I actually had sweat! I like the feel of the balance I had to maintain in the wheelbarrow to get from point A to point B.

It took about an hour or so, but it sure did feel great. And here are the fruits of my accomplishments....what?...you didn't think I had a picture....come on!!!!

...isn't it all so pretty!

Sure beats working at a desk all day!
