I finished this piece yesterday morning. It is my first canvas art piece and I love it. It was an easy topic to work on...hero, prompted by project 52. My ma, naturally!
Something magical happened as I took the brush to the canvas, it was freeing! Hard to describe, but it reminded me of when I was probably in kindergarten, and art was so messy and carefree and available. I felt free to brush anyway I want! It was a good feeling!
I then went on to add different elements, most from India.
